Abdominal Wall Solutions

The innovative fasciotens® products use a patented, tissue-sparing technique to apply vertical traction to the fascia of the abdominal wall, creating the conditions for direct abdominal wall closure in open abdomens, complex hernias, as well as neonatal abdominal wall defects.

Fasicotens_Adbomen

fasciotens® Abdomen applies tension to the abdominal wall and can thus prevent fascia retraction, increase intra-abdominal volume and reduce intra-abdominal pressure.

Fasicotens_Herna

fasciotens® Hernia makes it possible to stretch the abdominal wall intraoperatively in approx. 30 min using standardised and controlled tensile force.

Fasicotens_Pediatric

fasciotens® Pediatric is used for the treatment of congenital and acquired abdominal wall defects of various causes in newborns.

Fascial tension is the answer

fasciotens® Abdomen applies tension to the abdominal wall and can thus prevent fascia retraction, increase intra-abdominal volume and reduce intra-abdominal pressure.

fasciotens® Abdomen thus supports the stabilisation of critically ill patients, enabling direct, early closure of the open abdomen.

The innovative therapy for complex hernias

Fascial tension is the answer

fasciotens® Hernia makes it possible to stretch the abdominal wall intraoperatively in approx. 30 min using standardised and controlled tensile force.

Thanks to the CE-certified fasciotens® Hernia, a mean gain in fascial length of approx. 10 cm1 can be achieved with maximum preservation of tissue, which makes it possible to preserve the integrity of the abdominal wall and to close the hernia directly and safely.

The innovative therapy for abdominal wall defects in newborns

Congenital abdominal wall defects

fasciotens® Paediatric is used for the treatment of congenital and acquired abdominal wall
defects of various causes in newborns. With fasciotens® Paediatric, standardised and quantifiable traction can be applied to the abdominal wall immediately after initial treatment.

The abdominal wall is stretched via ventrally directed traction, enlarging the abdominal cavity and thus creating space for the organs. For the first time, the cradle device fasciotens® Cradle makes it easy to position newborns with constant directional traction.
